Two and a Half

July 5th Reese turned two and a half and on July 2nd Reese became a Big Sister!! It is amazing to see how wonderful Reese is as a big sister to Reagan Grace. She kisses on her all the time and makes sure she has toys and is covered up. She also is on diaper duty and gives us diapers and wipes as well as throw away all the dirty diapers : ) Grandma Boo, Grandpa, Mimi, Paw-Paw and Uncle B all came to help the first couple of weeks. Reese was certainly entertained and she didnt seem to mind a new addition to the family. In fact she wants to see and hold her baby sister all the time. While grandma Boo and Papa were visiting Reese learned so many new things and had the best time. They came to the hospital everyday to see Baby Reagan and to give her lots of kisses. They skipped around the house singing skip to my lou. They sang zippy do da, ring around the rosie, this little light of mine..... They played under the covers with flashlights. They watched bubble guppies and Dora. They went shopping everyday and of course Reese got presents all the time for everything : ) They went to the park and Barnes and Nobles and bought lots of books to read. They played hide and go Seek and so much more!!! Daddy and Papa had a great time swimming with Reese and going down the water slides. It was Reese's first time going under water and liking it. Mimi had fun watching Scooby Doo with Reese and holding sweet Reagan. They played games and read books. Uncle B took Reese to the park and had fun entertaining her. He had a good time keeping up with her. Paw-Paw had fun chasing Reese and scaring her. he also had fun taking her for a ride in the G8 Reese enterained us all with her singing and dancing!!! It was wonderful to have so much help!!! we are blessed to have such amazing family and friends. a little more about our sweet Reese.... She now weighs 31 pounds and is TALL. We need to measure her soon. She goes to bed around 8:00 and gets up at 6:00. She still takes a nap for at least 2 hours. she loves school and it is fun to watch everyone give her hugs when she leaves. She is talking up a storm now and has a sweet personality and is pretty witty. She still has melt downs when she doesnt get her way and the only thing to work is time out. She has her first denist appt last month and did super. no cavities. Daddy does a gret job helping her brush her teeth. She loves to swim now in the big pool. Daddy wants her to jump in the pool but she is not a fam. She just wants to float around.

First "Real" Haircut

Reese had her first real haircut yesterday. Daddy has trimed it twice and I had to get Reese an appt before he went after it again. We were trying to grow it all out but she refuses to wear barrets and bows and her bangs were hanging in her eyes. She did really great!! and stayed soooo still to my surprize : ) Some silly things she is doing now. *In class the other day everyone approached her when she got to school and she said "get off, get off!" (She is moving into begginer Two class on June 4th) *For several weeks now she has been calling her grandparents. On Memorial Day she said "Mama, go get me the phone please I am going to call Papa." *when she eats something she loves she says "it's delicious!" *She loves to watch Dora the Explora *She is reading books to herself and to her babies *She still LOVES to sing *She loves to dance to Wild One (of all the songs......)

I did it myself mama !!!

Reese amazes us every day! Over the past couple of weeks she has been putting on her shoes by herself and on the right feet! She can also put on her big girl panties all by herself. She always wants to pick out what to wear in the morning. It mainly has to be pink. (and if it were up to her she would wear her princess pjs to school everyday.) Some days I am lucky and can get a bow in her hair but it is rare. Scott also took her paci away last week and she has been doing great without it. She was only using it at night but it was a big deal and I never thought we would get rid of it. I think she cried the first night for 5-10 minutes and has not cried since. Scott is wonderful! He does all of this when I am out of town. He knows the minute she cries I would give in : ) Luckily it really has not been a big deal to her. We will see what happens when baby number two gets here. She is talking and singing up a storm and her energy is crazy!! We cannot keep up and it never seems to die down. Even at 8pm when it is time to go to bed - she is ready to jump on her bed versus sleep. We are getting in a bad habit of Reese lying down with mommy in mommies bed instead of going straight to her room for bed time. We like to watch our girlie TV shows. She use to go down like clock work at 8:00pm but lately she is not wanting to go to bed unitl later and wants to hang out in mommies room......Not sure how we are going to break this habit. Reese likes to dance with the stars : ) Her favorite things right now: Princesses Pink dancing singing (she loves to make up her own songs) playing hide and seek with daddy playing with her baby dolls carrying a purse EVERYWHERE. We cannot leave home without it. Disney world - she tells us everyday we are going to go. talking on the phone to grandparents candy! watching shrek???? waking us up in the morning- she brings her pillow and blanket down to our room every morning and hops in bed with us to watch cartoons for a second and then tells each of us "Wake Up". I am still not sure why I cannot load pictures and need to figure it out soon!!

Two Years and Four Months

Time is flying by.......... I can't believe how fast our little girl is growing up. A lot has happen in the past couple of months. In Feb. we went with Boo and Papa to Disney World for Reese's 2nd birthday. It was a true gift to see how excited and how much fun Reese had. She loved everything and was soooo good. Some of her favorite things to do were meet all the characters. She would wait in line like a trooper, give them a big hug, take her picture, and have them sign her autograph book. We thought she would be scared as she bawled when she met Santa but NOT AT ALL. She LOVED them all. I think her favorite was Woody and Jessie and would screamed with excitment every time she saw them. She loved all the parades and literally tried to high five all the characters in the parade. To this day she still wants to watch the parades from our trip. She had fun on the rides: the teacups, carosel, its a small world, pooh, trains, etc. She loved Disney so much that we put a wall of her Disney pictures in her room. We also put shelves with the characters on it. Moving on to our next adventure... Reese is now in a BIG GIRL ROOM. We made a huge deal about it so she would not feel the baby was getting all her stuff. It is filled with Disney and Princesses (Reese loves princesses now). The transistion was so much easier then we thought. She slept in her new bed the first night with no trouble!! Every morning she wakes up and comes down to get us up. It is wonderful! I think we moved her into her room March. Also in March Reese started potty training. Day care is great!! They started working with her during the day and it took about two weeks. Easter was fun! We went and got pictures with the Easter Bunny, participated the neighborhood easter egg hunt, dyed eggs and opened up way too much candy and presents on Easter day!!!! I think Reese ate half of her candy in one sitting. The child loves her candy. In April we went to the Bahamas with Hollister and Reese went to Boo and Papa's house at the beach. She had a ball going shopping, playing at the zoo, hitting all the parks, playing in the pool. Papa even put in a swing for Reese that she LOVES!! and of course there were toys galor. It is like Christmas at their house. We missed her like crazy and it is getting really hard to leave her now that she knows we are going. She was glad to see us and still will not leave our side : ) Other things Reese is doing now: She is really excited about her sister and kisses mama's belly all the time. We are still working on a name. Reese wants to call her "Reese". Reese is talking up a storm and it amazes me some of the things she knows. We are so glad she loves dayschool because she is learning so much. She knows all her colors now and can count to 15 sometimes 20. She also remembers so much and we have to be careful about what we say and do : ) She loves to dance and sing. When dancing with the stars comes on she always says "Daddy come dance with me". Your heart just melts!! We still use are binky to sleep with at night. I know it is time to take it away but she loves the darn thing so much and I dont have the heart to take it away. We still need to work on getting vegetables down. We are doing better but.....the child just loves her carbs any and all carbs. Temper tantrums are fun these days when she does not get what she wants but thank goodness they dont last too long and are mainly at home. Once again I know I am forgetting things Reese is doing now especially since I have pregnancy brain : ) Can you believe baby number 2 will be here in less 8 weeks?!?!?!? She is such a sweet little girl and so much fun!!!!!
